Hi! My name is Shannon, and I am a nationally certified yoga instructor (RYT 200). Here's a bit about me: I am an actor and director, but during graduate school, I was plagued with back problems, and as a physical actor, this became a bigger and bigger issue. I found my way to a yoga studio in Greensboro, N.C. and felt real physical peace for the first time in my life. I had practiced in many different studios and gyms until deciding to pursue yoga teacher certification (RYT 200) in 2009. I hold additional certification in pre/postnatal yoga and YogaEd (K-8 and Tools for Teachers).
